Yoga Journal Magazine
“Top 16 Yogis You Should Know!”
Yoga Journal Magazine (@yogajournal) launched a campaign to find one passionate and dedicated yogi to pose for a special reader cover issue of the magazine.
The magazine was flooded with thousands of applications from yogis all over who shared their practices and difference they are making with yoga. The magazine decided to do an article highlighting their top picks and Heather was one of sixteen people featured!
This was a huge honor to be featured in such a renowned publication with the opportunity to share our trubeautyMOVEMENT mission and the power of yoga to such a broad audience.
Thank you Yoga Journal Magazine for this opportunity!

Making a Real Difference In Real Girls’ Lives!
trubeauty’s Founder & Editor-In-Chief, Heather’s passion for empowering girls in + out goes beyond blogging and sharing tips + tutorials virtually!
She loves to volunteer at Girls Inc, a non-profit after school program, contributing both her time and a % of trubeauty’s funds to their incredible cause!
When volunteering, Heather teaches girls ages 6-18 years old her top yoga, wellness, beauty, and lifestyle tips. She loves to teach creative ways inspiring the girls to “dream big” and build self confidence with activities like “How To Create A Vision Board” (based on her popular YouTube video tutorial that teaches this topic).
Her intention is to encourage the girls to treat one-another with respect and support, while inspiring them to manifest the life of their dreams and realize they can do ANYTHING they put their mind to!
